What the ratings mean. They are our own assessment, based on systems we have designed, installed and supported ourselves — not aggregated customer reviews, not third-party lab testing, and not a public poll. We score each platform on reliability in the field, how widely it integrates with other systems, and how well it holds up across a 10–15 year life. A lower score is not a warning: KNX rates below Crestron on local support in India and is still the right recommendation on plenty of projects where budget leads the brief.
What the costs mean. The ranges are typical installed totals for homes we have actually quoted in Gujarat — hardware, programming, commissioning and handover — not manufacturer list prices, and not the cheapest possible version of each.
